APP testing and production status

The newly created APP of the merchant is in the test mode. In the test mode, the orders generated by the APP are all test orders. The test order can use the simulated payment method to complete the simulation of the entire payment chain. The test order will appear in the merchant's transaction list. After completing the payment using the simulated payment method, the paynicorn system will send the transaction result of the test order to the asynchronous notification address configured by the merchant

The test mode is used to help merchants complete the technical docking and testing of the paynicorn system before the official launch of the product, without generating real transactions and deductions. The account of the test order will not be generated in the accounts and reconciliation of the merchant console. Before the merchant's product is officially launched, the test APP needs to be changed to the production state in order to conduct real production transactions.

There is a limit on the number of calls to the API of the test APP. When the API call of the test APP reaches the limit, the merchant needs to log in to the merchant console and reset the limit of the number of calls in the Apps before making the API call of the new test APP.

The process of changing the test APP to the production state is an irreversible process. If the merchant has new testing requirements, they can create a new APP in App>Apply for new testing work.
